Membership Information

Welcome to Speed Aquatics!
Below is an overview of our membership policies, designed to clarify our processes and ensure a positive experience for all families.

    • Speed Aquatics is a subscription-based program. Monthly dues allow swimmers to attend as many or as few practices as they choose.

    • Membership is month-to-month and automatically renews unless canceled.

    • Billing occurs on the 1st of each month via AutoPay (credit card required).

    • Families must create an account during registration.

    • Registration Fee: $75 (non-refundable).

    • Monthly Fees:

      • Speed 1: $175

      • Speed 2: $195

      • Speed 3: $205

      • Speed 4: $215

      • Speed 5: $235

    • Additional Costs: Fees for meets, leagues, uniforms, memberships, and travel are not included in monthly dues.

    • No Prorates: Mid-month signups begin the following month.

    • Sibling Discount: 15% off for each additional swimmer.

    • Late Fee: $25 if payment is not completed within 5 business days.

    • Pool Closures and Practice Cancellations: Speed Aquatics is not responsible for lost practices due to pool closures or other cancellations.

    Speed Aquatics is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all swimmers, families, and staff. All members of our community are expected to conduct themselves in a way that reflects the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and mutual respect.

    General Expectations

    • Treat coaches, teammates, competitors, officials, and families with respect at all times.

    • Follow all facility rules and directions provided by staff and coaches.

    • Demonstrate good sportsmanship in practices, competitions, and team activities.

    • Use appropriate and respectful language and behavior at all times.

    • Keep hands, feet, and personal belongings to yourself.

    • Report any unsafe behavior, harassment, or misconduct to a coach or staff member immediately.

    Disciplinary Process – 3 Strike Rule

    Speed Aquatics uses a 3 Strike System to address violations of this Code of Conduct:

    1. First Violation (Strike 1)

      • A written notice will be provided to the swimmer and parent/guardian outlining the behavior or incident.

      • A discussion may be held with the swimmer and parent/guardian to review expectations moving forward.

    2. Second Violation (Strike 2)

      • A second written notice will be provided.

      • A formal meeting may be scheduled with the swimmer, parent/guardian, and club leadership to address ongoing concerns.

    3. Third Violation (Strike 3)

      • If a swimmer receives a third written notice, Speed Aquatics reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund.

    Zero Tolerance

    Speed Aquatics maintains a zero tolerance policy for severe misconduct, including but not limited to:

    • Physical aggression or violence

    • Harassment, bullying, or discrimination

    • Inappropriate physical contact

    • Actions that put the safety of others at risk

    These actions may result in immediate removal from the club regardless of prior strikes.

    Acknowledgment

    By participating in Speed Aquatics, all swimmers and families agree to follow this Code of Conduct and understand the consequences of failing to do so.description

    • Recommended Gear:

      • Team Parka

      • Warmups

      • Backpack
        (Gear should be replaced only if needed.)

    • Families are required to volunteer at meets their swimmer participates in.

    • A $100 Volunteer Fee will be charged if no volunteer job is fulfilled.

    • Meet entries are reviewed and submitted by the Speed Aquatics Admin Team.

    • Host meet fees typically range from $10–$25.

    • Speed Aquatics adds a $5 surcharge per swimmer.

    • All meet entry fees are non-refundable, even in cases of illness or emergency.

    • Illness Credits:

      • Considered for absences of 2 weeks or more with a doctor’s note.

      • Limit of 2 illness credits per swim year (September–August).

    • Vacation: No credits issued for vacation absences.

    • Freeze Option: $50/month.

    • Holds your swimmer’s spot while pausing monthly training dues.

    • Requests must be submitted 7 days before the next billing cycle.

    • Cancellations must be submitted by email 7 days prior to the next billing date.

    • To cancel, email speedaquatics@gmail.com and complete the Cancellation Request Form.

  • No practice will be held on the following holidays:

    • New Year’s Day

    • Martin Luther King Jr. Day

    • Presidents’ Day

    • Memorial Day

    • Juneteenth

    • 4th of July

    • Labor Day

    • Halloween Night

    • Veterans Day

    • Thanksgiving

    • Christmas Day
